Screen Shot: Hyper Lander 2 Classic Begining
Necessary Items, Songs Needed: (none)
Items, Songs Found: Three Heart Pieces, Magic Meter, Song of Time, Inverted Song of Time, Song of Double Time
Boss(es): Skull Kid
Notes: This is just the beginning of the game until the first time warp. It introduces how to operate Deku Link a bit and Majora's Mask's plot.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After finally finishing his adventure in Ocarina of Time (the previous Zelda game for 64 ), Link begins his long journey home on his trusty horse, Epona. As he rides through the forest towards his house, he gets this weird feeling. Something's wrong. All of a sudden, a white fairy and a purple fairy jump out and frighten Epona, who throws Link on the ground and knocks him out. As he is out cold, an odd looking imp comes out and begins searching Link for valuable items. He finds the Ocarina of Time and begins playing with it, not noticing Link is awaking up again. But just before Link can get a hold of the thief, he jumps on Epona and rides off.

When you first have control of Link, you'll be in a forest in front of a large log and a few bushes. Cut the bushes down for a rupee or two and then run into the log. Keep going in deeper, and you'll find yourself falling into a huge pit. When you land the Skull Kid casts a spell that turns Link into A Deku Scrub, a short plant-like creature. The Skull Kid begins to float away and shuts a large door, not realizing the white fairy (named Tatl) is left behind. Tatl asks Link to open the door decides to help Link catch up with Stalkid. Obviously, you have to open the door for the Tatl. Keep running and Tatl will you out a little bit by telling you how to Z-Target and burrow into plants (if you need help with performing these actions, go to my Game Review). After she gives the brief explanation, hop into the flower, fly straight across to the giant pillar, and open the chest for a few Deku Nuts (now Tatl will jump in again and tell you exactly how you can use them while flying). Go all the way to the exit of this room. You'll find yourself by a mossy river. Hop across it, go to the huge door, watch the little cinema with the Mask Seller, and head outside into South Clock Town.

First, you should make sure you have about 5 rupees, and find the little man towards the north side of town (conveniently named North Clock Town) who will sell you a nice cheap map of Clock Town. Next you can, head towards the southwest corner of the South Clock Town (the big part of the town with the Clock Tower), and go up a ramp there to get to the little section at the bottom of your new map called the Laundry Pool. There should be a little fairy floating around over the stream there. Hop over and catch the fairy. Head back to North Clock Town, go into the cave on your left, and return the fairy. The fairy you caught will join up with all the others to form a Great Fairy (there's four more of these in Link's quest). She'll grant Deku Link a magic meter and the ability to spit bubbles. Leave the cave and spit a bubble at the blue balloon. This will upset it's owner - a little kid that's the leader of a club called the Bombers. He'll ask if you'd want to take a test. Say yes and he'll call four friends. They will all hide, giving you until morning to find them. Two of the kids are in the same area you are, so be sure to check behind trees and hard to see spots. Another kid is in the area on the left side of town (West Clock Town) by the shops. If he tries to run away, spin after him until you can catch up. The last 2 kids are on the right side of town (East Clock Town). One will jump off a ledge when you try to catch him. The other is on the balcony of the Stock Pot Inn. You can use a flower launcher and glide over to catch him or you can go inside the Inn, go upstairs, open the oddly colored door, and chase the little rugrat off yourself. He will give you a five-digit number password (which is different every time) which you can tell to a kid blocking a passage in East Clock Town.

You'll have to follow the little passage by jumping on the water. You can get some more distance per jump by spinning right before you do it. It helps a lot, especially later in your quest, so you might wanna master it now. There's one monster in here, but you can just go around it. When you get to the ladder, a balloon will prevent you from going up. Just pop it like you did the other one, and continue up. Head up the stairs and you'll see a telescope and a wizard-type man. He'll ask if you want to look through it. Say yes, and zoom in towards to top of the Clock Tower to spot the Skull Kid. A flaming object (called a Moon's Tear) will fall out of the moon's eye, and land right outside. Take the door right by the telescope and pick it up.

Next, go back South Clock Town and look for the orange-yellow flower launcher. Another Deku will fly in and tell you to not use his property. Give him what you picked up, and he will give you a Title Deed in return. You can trade that thing for something else and a heart piece later in the game, but not now. Since you have time to kill, you might wanna explore the town a bit. You won't be able to do some things yet, but it's still fun to just walk around. If you go to West Clock Town, enter the Trading Post, and talk to the scarecrow, he'll talk about a few songs that can alter time, one called the Song of Double Time that will warp you ahead twelve hours, and one called the Inverted Song of Time that will slow down or speed up time. Because you don't have an ocarina (or the Song of Time), you can't play these songs yet, but remember how he said they were played. Wait until midnight on the first or second day and use the flower launcher by the Stock Pot Inn in East Clock Town to get in at night. Go downstairs and find the bathroom. A hand will pop out of the little hole and ask for paper. and give him the Title Deed. In return, he'll give you a nice heart piece. In order to advance further, you will need to wait until midnight of the Third and Final Day. When you see the cut scene of the fireworks at the clock, head back to the yellow launcher in South Clock Town and use it to get on top of the clock tower where the heart piece is. Follow the stairs and you will run into the Skull Kid and his purple fairy. He will start to cast a spell to pull the moon towards the earth. Stand below him, aim upwards, and knock the ocarina away with a spit bubble. A flashback with Link learning the Song of Time will follow. Now think back. Remember those songs that scarecrow was talking about? Well, now that you've learned the the Song of Time, you can play the Song of Double Time and the Inverted Song ot Time as well. After the scene finishes, just play the Song of Time on your ocarina and you will be sent back to the first day. Be sure you do it quickly though, or else the moon will crash into Termina and the town, making you start everything over again.

WOODFALL Tempel

Necessary Items, Songs Needed: Song of Awakening, Deku Mask, Great Fairy's Mask, Bunny Hood (helpful), Blast Mask (helpful), Bomb Bag
Items, Songs Found: Bow and Arrow, Heart Container, Temple Map and Compass, Odolwa's Remains, Blue Potion
Boss(es): Odolwa, the Masked Jungle Warrior
Notes: This is the first and the the easiest temple in the game. It introduces some basic puzzles and tests you just a bit. The boss in here is kinda hard for new players, but he's not that difficult to those who've already played Ocarina of Time.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you walk in, the first thing you'll see is the fairy floating near the entrance. If you have the Bunny Hood, you can just jump off and grab it. If not, you might need to glide Deku Link over to it. You could also just put on the Great Fairy's Mask and have it come to you, if you like doing things the easy way. There is another fairy in a chest on one of the launcher platforms. Take the launchers all the way across the room, and watch out for the monsters at the end. You can avoid them pretty easily, but getting knocked down when you're that far is a little irritation. In the next room, walk down the plank and past the locked door. Kill the plant by the locked door to release the 3rd fairy. Then transform to Deku Link to leap across the little lily pads to the next room. You cannot cross as Link, because those plants will chew you up and spit you out (literally). There is a key against the wall in this room, so don't forget to launch towards it and grab it. You can go onto the next room if you want, where you will need to fight three turtle monsters. Hit them with a bomb or wear the Blast Mask to knock them over, then hit them with your sword. You'll get a map for your efforts. Exit and hop over to the pots at your immediate left for a few rupees and another fairy. Go back to the locked door and open it with your new key. Push the block in the middle of this room forward one, then go around to the other side and push it back two spaces towards the door you just came from. Also, kill the spider in the corner by the already lit torch to release a 5th fairy. Light the unlit torch with a Deku stick and run in the now unlocked room. Kill all the dragonflies in the next room to get the compass. Leave that room and strap on the Bunny Hood. Light a stick, run up the stairs, and jump across the floating platforms. Burn away the web with the lighted stick and continue up to the next floor.

Follow the path, killing every enemy you confront. Killing all of those black things will make a chest with a 6th fairy appear. Light the three unlit torches to open the door to the next room. Launch across the next room (you might have a hard time because of those dumb dragonflies) to end up back downstairs (but on the upper level). Run straight away (as Normmal Link) and stand on the switch to make a few ladders appear in case you fall. Take the door right by the switch, then walk across the ledge and go into the door to the mini-boss. He's not that hard, just slash him a bit and watch out for his flame breath. You'll recieve a bow and arrow for defeating him.

Walk out of that room and hit the eye on the ledge all the way across from where you are now. Take the floating launcher (that now works) over to the door and whip out your new weapon to shoot down the beehive on the left. Use the Great Fairy's Mask to attract the 7th fairy to you. Now just open the door and prepare for another mini-boss. This boss is prettty easy, but only if you have lots of bombs and arrows. First you can just cut up the messed-up frog until he summons a turtle. When the they both start to spin, you can bomb them by laying one in the turtle's path or wearing the Blask Mask and pressing B. When the frog is off, just take out your bow and arrows and shoot him off the ceiling. After three shots, the frog turns into a happy blue frog that won't bother you a bit. Run into the next room, break the pots for a total of twenty rupees, and open the chest for the Boss Key!

Now you can head back out into the room with the huge plant in the middle. Stand on the activated button on the upper level and fire an arrow through the lit torch and into the unlit torch on the plant. The plant will unfold, raise, up, and spin around. Also, all the water is safe to jump into now, so Link can swim whereever he needs. Go back to the room with the long wooden bridges and the big stone in it. Put on the Great Fairies Mask, then jump in the water and get the 8th fairy. There's one more in here too. Shoot the behives while still wearing the Great Fairy's Mask to knock them down and free your 9th fairy. Now you can go out, climb up the ladder to the second floor, jump on the spinning flower, and aim through the flame on its torch to hit the other unlit torch. This is kind of a hard task, but you can make it easier by keeping a view of the unlit torch at all times and just waiting for the lit torch to come around, instead of vise versa. A door will open, but don't go in it yet. Instead, jump into the flower near the recently lit torch (after getting the 10th fairy trapped in the bubble right next to it) and fly towards the deactivated button also near it. A chest will appear. Open it for your 11th fairy. NOW you can go through the unlocked door.

As you first into the room, take care of the two dragonflies in the air, and the spider monster all the way to the left of you, way up high. They are all big pains, and now's a good time to deal with them. Go to the platform in the middle for twenty rupees, then use the launcher at the base of the ladder to go to the first platform on your left. Your 12th and 13th fairies are up on those three left platforms. Now you can jump down and go to the 14th fairy on a platform way to the right again by using the launchers. Use the flower to get on the room of that roofed structure and put on the Great Fairies Mask. Now shoot the bubble with the fairy inside and watch it fly right over to you, completing your mission to find every fairy in the Woodfall Temple. Alright here's the tricky part. First if you look far away you can see part of that little grey diamond thing just behind that second stone pillar. Shoot it with an arrow to get rid of that fire. Now quickly jump from the roofed thing to the first stone pillar (the one that the fairy was on) and back off so you land underneath the roof. Transform into Deku Link and use the launcher to fly all the way to the second pillar. Be quick about it though, because if you fall off, you'll have to start all over. Use the launcher on the second pillar to jump on the roof of the other roofed thing. Now just use the launcher on the second roofed thing and congrats! You've made it all the way to the Boss's Door! Use the Boss Key and get ready for a battle.

Woodfall Temple Boss: Odolwa

This guy's a real freak. Not only is he huge, super-fast, and in control of moths, but he also packs a huge sword. First off he'll leap around the room shouting his cry and try to slash at you (how lovely). Just target him and hack away. Try to hit him when he slashes and misses, or when he leaps up to try and escape. Use your shield often. It may not always work, but it does a lot of the time. Sometimes he may summon smaller bug things to help, but when he does, just stab 'em and get the hearts they leave behind. If he traps you in a circle of fire, just stand and wait for it to disappear, blocking the whole time. If you're burned, then run out of the circle, to escape any other burns you'd get if you'd stay in. He can also summon moths, but don't worry as they do very little damage and eventually disappear. Still, you might try to outrun the cloud with the Bunny Mask. He does one last spin attack, which is very hard to block, so I just took the heat for a second so I could slash at the dude. After a lot of punishment, he will fall over and you will get a heart container. Use the teleportal to get out of that dump.

In a short cinema, Link will learn a new song (the Oath to Order) and the poison waters will drain from this dungeon and the surrounding area. You'll be teleported to a new room, where the Deku princess is being held. Use an empty bottle to grab her after she talks about how mad she is at her father. Before you take her back to her kingdom, return all the fairies from the first dungeon to the fairy in the cave right outside the temple for a new sword attack. Now take the Deku princess back to the king and release her for a short scene, then go back outside and take the lily pads to your left to a little cave. You will need to follow the Deku guy as normal link wearing the Bunny Hood. If you get too far behind, the doors will close and you will need to start all over again. You get the Mask of Scents if you are fast enough to keep up with the Deku guy. Once you get it, you can go to the injured witch and use it to find purple clouds scattered around the Southern Swamp. Bottle one of them and take it back to the potion-selling witch. Come back a bit later, and you can get a blue potion from her for free (the potion that heals life as well as magic).

Stone Tower
Play the Song of Time to save and return to Clock Town, then leave the turn via the southern exit. Call your horse, and head to Milk road, then enter the Gorman Track (hit the owl statue on Milk Road if you haven't already). Talk to the Gorman brothers whilest on Epona and challenge them to a race - you'll need 10 rupees to begin the race. The easiest way to win, is to hug the right side of the track, and jump the fences. After winning, you'll be rewarded with the Garo mask.

- Ikana Graveyard -

Head out to east Termina. After jumping the fences blocking the path to Ikana, head north. Climb the ledge, then enter Ikana Graveyard. Ignore the stalchild / dampe, and continue along the path until you see a giant stalchild, the captain. Play the Sonata of Awakening to begin his challenge. You have to catch up to him and kill him. However, flames will periodically rise, and to have them disapear, you must kill the stalchilds. To slow the captain down, shoot him with an arrow when you get the chance. When you catch up to him, just attack him with your sword. After defeating him, follow along the path until you see a chest across a gap. Hookshot over to reach it, and open it for the captains hat. Return to the lower part of the graveyard. If its not nightime, play the song of double time to skip ahead a little. Wear the captains hat and talk to the stalchild leader, and ask him to open the grave. Enter it. Walk to the door and kill all the keese. Light all the torches for the door to open. Enter the door to fight an Ironknuckle. To defeat it, attack it when its axe is stuck, or after he takes consecutive strikes. Once he's defeated, climb the tombstone and learn the song of storms. Leave the grave and head to Ikana Canyon.

- Ikana Canyon -

Put on the Garo mask, and talk to the Garo. Hookshot onto the treestump, then continue east to Ikana Valley. To avoid Garo fights, simply remove the Garo mask. Head over to the plank on the river, and freeze the octoroks with ice arrows to cross the river. Hookshot the stumps to climb the cliff. Once you reach the top, activate the owl statue. Climb the hills here to reach the northern part of the area. Enter the cave, and when sharp plays his evil music, play the song of storms. By doing so, music will start playing again at the music house, and the gibdo will die. Leave the cave and head down to the music house, and place a bomb at the door. Get a fair distance away from the house so you're not seen, but you can see if the girl leaves. Sneak in the house without being seen by the girl, and head downstairs. Goto the cupboard, and after the gibdo bursts out, play the song od healing. Its really the girls father. You'll now have the gibdo mask. Leave the house, and find the well. Enter the well to begin the gibdo trading sequence.

- Inside the Well -

To naviagate through the maze, you'll need the following items. Some of the items, mostly bottled items, can be found in the maze itself. Others, such as milk and the blue potion, you'll have to get on your own. To talk to a gibdo, you'll need to be wearing the gibdo mask.

5 Magic Beans
Blue Potion
Water
Bugs
10 Deku nuts
A Fish
10 Bombs
Big Poe (is in the maze)
Milk
Simply follow the map, and head toward the north eastern section of the well. You may need to go back and forth through other doors that lead away from the north eastern section, in order to gain other items (such as the Big Poe). After you reach a room with torches in it, in the north eastern part of the well, light them all to find a chest. Open it for the mirror sheild. Use the mirror sheild to shine light on the sun block, then climb the ladder to leave.

- Old Ikana Castle -

Walk around to the front of the castle and enter it. Shoot the eye on the left, and go through the left door. Hit the crystal, then wear the deku mask and dive into the flower next to the pole. Wait for the floor to drop, then jump out to knock the floor back up. Dive in again, and jump on to of the pole. Remove the mask and stand on the switch. Shoot an arrow at the crystal to raise the floor again, then go through the new door. Kill all 3 skulltula, and destroy the spikes. Hit the switch in the North West corner (use the Lens of Truth to see the hidden platform). As a deku, jump across the platforms and go thru the door. Go past the blue bubbles, then climb the stairs and exit. Walk to the ledge, and climb up. Walk around to the front of the castle, and use the deku flowers to reach the switch. Stand on it, then jump back down to the ground and enter the castle. Shoot the right eye, and enter the that door. Kill the wall master, and shine light onto the sun block with the mirror sheild. Wear the gibdo mask to avoid the gibdos, then go through the door.

Mini Boss: Wizrobe

Kill the wizrobe as you usually would, and go through the new door. Climb the stairs, and go though the next door. Walk around the castle roof, and look for a crack (Not a hole!) in the floor. Blow it up with a powder keg, and enter the hole. Shine light on the sun block, and enter the throne room. Equip fire arrows, and proceed to the throne.

Boss: King's Servants, King of Ikana

When the battle begins, burn down the curtains with the fire arrows. To kill these warriors, block their attacks with your shield and attack them to stun them. Once they're stunned, shine light on them with your shield. Once they are defeated, the King will teach you the Elegy of Emptyness. Leave the castle, and head to Ikana Canyon. Take the north eastern exit from here to head towards stone tower.

I strongly suggest you fill all of your bottles up with fairies and green potion. Better yet, get some Romani Chateau from the Milk Club on the first night (you can beat this temple in 2 days easily). Make sure you grab some bombs, arrows, and magic. Now warp to Stone Tower. Now for each of the switches put a form of yourself with the Elegy of Emptiness. After pushing all the switches down the blocks will lead you into the weird looking entrance to the Temple.

Now make your way through the enemies and go to the door on the left side of this weird room. Inside find a wall that has a crack in it. Use a bomb, and use the crate inside to hold one of the switches down. For the other 3 switches use the Link, Goron (must be placed on the largest switch), and Zora forms. After pushing all switches down the door will open. In this open courtyard place a bomb on the square where the tiles are colored differently. Now head through the door to go downstairs.

Use the sunlight to move the large sun block. Go to the other side as a Goron (to not get hurt in the lava) and open the chest to receive the dungeon map. Now touch the Armos statues and hit them with your Goron Swipe, but remember to run away so their blast won’t hurt you. Now grab the key and head back upstairs through the locked door.

Jump into the water and swim to the other side. LET the hand grab you, because he will throw you up the ledge and let you grab the key. Now go back down, kill the hand, and enter the water pathway. Jump out of the water and go under the beam of sunlight. Use the shield to reflect the light on the mirror. After about 7 second let go and go over to the light that the mirror is reflecting. Use this light to make the sun block disappear. Grab the compass. Now backtrack and go through the locked door you passed earlier.

Put on your Goron Mask and destroy the blocks in front of you. Now use that sunlight to reflect light on the left mirror. After about 15 seconds go to that light and make it reflect on the mirror on the other wall. Now use that light to reflect the light on the sun block. Also avoid the annoying black goobers. Finally head through the door.

Turn into the Deku Shrub and fly to each gusts of air. The last one is kind of hard to get to, so make sure you cut the corner quickly. Once on the other side of the room go through the door. This mini boss is fairly easy. Always have your shield up, and when he jumps into the air run out from under the spot you were just at. Now take your sword and swipe. So shield when he is on the ground, run, and hit after he comes back from above. After the battle grab the light arrows. Now play the song of soaring and warp back to the beginning of this temple. Head outside and step on the switches to make the blocks go back in a row. Jump on the first block and pull out your light arrows. Hit the little bug symbol with the light arrow to switch the temple around. Jump over the blocks again and head into the reversed temple.

If you are here at night you can see the pretty night sky beneath you. After enjoying your view, go to the room on the right. Use a light arrow on the sun block that is in front of you to make it disappear. Now change into Deku Link and use the air to push you up to the platform with a bug on it. Go through the tunnel and hit the switch to make a chest appear. Run back, grab the chest, and finally head up in this room to a locked door.

Shoot the bug symbol with a light arrow and use the Goron to go through the lava. On the other side use another light arrow to switch the room back. Use the same concept as above. You wan to line up the block with each section so you can move it onto the switch. You can look above you to see where the best path is, but I cannot really help you with this. Just line up the block so you can go move a few feet, then switch again, until you get it in the hole. Finally progress through the door.

Time to Fight the wizard one more time. (Too bad) Just stand in the corner and shoot your arrows when he starts going in a circle. After defeating him hookshot onto the chest and move on to the next room. Avoid the poes and simply fly past them with the deku shrub. In the following room hit the spiky balls with your hookshot so they both blow up. Now fly over to where the balls used to be, and use that flower to make it to the other side. Kill the blue skulls and stock up on supplies. When you are ready head into the next room.

This mini boss is kind of challenging, but no problem for you… right? Use the light arrows to make the bats disappear for a while, and then swipe him with all your sword power. Use your bunny hood for extra speed. Always have your shield up when you are not swiping. It will save your life! After the battle grab the boss key.

Head back 3 rooms, and you will find yourself in the Poe room yet again. Use the Deku flower to fly up to the pathway above you. Put on your bunny mask and run for the switch. Play the Song of Elegy to keep a person on it. Then hookshot onto the chest and grab the key. Go to the room with the spiky balls in it (its just 1 room away) When you enter turn right and go through the door.

Shoot the knight’s bug symbol with a light arrow and wait for it to die. Now jump across, hit the switch, and hookshot up to the chest. Go through the locked door. Kill this guy by shooting light arrows into him over and over again. Now open up the chest to receive the Giant’s Mask, I know you didn’t see that one coming. Go through the door that was just unlocked. Inside hit the crystal with your hookshot. Hookshot up onto the chest. And finally hookshot onto the target at the top of the room. Fall down and enter. By the way if you turn around and defeat the Beamos, you can go behind him and stockpile on a ton of items. Now enter the Boos Fight!

Put your Giant’s mask on and drink your Chateau milk if you have it. When you’re big go to the large snakes and kick their butts! When their head pops out slice it! When their tail comes into view slice it! The rest of their body is too hard for your sword. During the fight if you start running low on magic hit the large pillars and change into small link. Look for the jugs of magic to refill yourself. After killing both snakes, grab the heart and enter the portal! You have conquered the 4 temples of Majora’s Mask!!!

All you have to do is put on your stone mask and he can't see you, if you want you can equip a magic arrow and shoot him three times while wearing the mask to kill him and get 200 rupees. This is a good way to build up 5000 rupees in the bank for the heart piece, just keep killing the buzzard, filling up your wallet (best if you have the 500-rupee wallet), and depositing it into the bank.

VERY EASY WAY TO BEAT ANY BOSS
The easy way to beat a boss is if you have gotten to a point where you can get to the moon after you have beaten all four temples, and have all 24 masks, then you can complete all four mini-dungeons on the moon. After you complete the mini-dungeons and all of your masks are gone go talk to the kid wearing Majora's Mask at the tree, he will say you have no masks, he will give you the Fierce Deity Mask and you can battle him after you defeat all three stages of Majora's Mask wearing your new mask, you can use it on any boss in the game because the game automatically saves when you beat it and the credits come up.

Hints
Infinite rupees
Note: The following trick requires a Bomb Bag, Bomb, code for observatory (you can use the front door but the back door is better), the Ocarina Of Time, and the Song Of Time. As an adult buy the Bomb Bag at the Bomb shop (50 coins?), then buy a Bomb or get them free by cutting weeds. Go to the kid that is blocking the observatory and give him the code (you need the code to become an adult). When you get to the water, go left instead of right to find a wall that can be bombed. Bomb it and go inside to find a chest with 100 silver rupees. Go to the bank (the man on the wall opposite the shops in the west part of Clock Town). Deposit the coins and play the Ocarina Of Time. The bank teller has marked you to remember what he owes you, so your cash stays intact in the bank. However, the contents of the chest will reset. This works for all coin chests in the game, so you can use this trick at any time.

On any day, go to the northeast corner of Clock Town. Turn and walk south to the edge of the ledge (be careful not to fall off). Turn around and give yourself some speed. Run toward the edge and press A before reaching the edge and Link will roll. You will land on the next ledge. From there, jump across on the decorations of the building going south until you are above the shooting gallery. Turn right and follow the roof until you get to the treasure chest. The chest contains 100 silver rupees. Remember to go to the banker and deposit your money to save it. Play your Ocarina to start at day one and repeat.

Enter Termina Field from South Clock Town and head towards the Milk Road. There will be a bird that attacks you and steals your items. Use the Deku Mask, target the bird, and shoot bubbles at him in the air. When he attacks, spin attack it. The bird will die after a few hits, and you will get 200 rupees. This can be repeated as needed.

Path through the woods
The path through the woods differs each day. For example, on the first day it is left, right, right, straight, left, left. On the second day, it is right, left, straight, left, left, right.

Laboratory code
The code for the laboratory to get the Moon Tears changes from game to game. It is determined by the order you find the five bomber kids. Each of them have a number on their back. The code is their numbers in the order that you found them. To find out what the code is, you must first pop the balloon with a bubble, arrow, or Zora Link's boomerang (preferably the bubble). Then, talk to the small kid who was trying to pop it. Tell him you want to try his test, and if you can locate and catch all five kids before the next morning you will receive the code. To catch a kid, run up to him. When he starts to run away, stand still. After running a short distance, he will stop running. When he stops, shoot him with a Deku Bubble Attack. The kid should be caught. Note: The kid carrying the Cucco must be shot once before he starts running, then again after he stops.

Change masks faster
Simply press the C button your mask is on a lot. Instead of the sequence where Link puts on the mask he will have the mask on faster.

Farther Distance with Deku Link
Use the following trick while on a lillypad or a place where you need to hop to another place when using Deku Link. Before you start hopping on the water, do the spinning attack so you can go at a faster speed. The extra speed will allow you to reach a bit farther then before.

Flower Jump
As the Deku Scrub, you'll have limited powers of flight. To use them, stand on a Deku flower, then press and hold A.Once you've burrowed into the flower's bud and a puff of pollen pops out, release A to rocket into the air and hover with your petal props. If you hit B while in midair, you can drop Deku Nut bombs.

Easy win
In the first dungeon, when you go against the three turtles, you don't need bombs, go in the flower as deku link and fly out just as they go over the top of you. It's a really easy win.

Necessary Items, Songs Needed: Bottle, Goron Mask, Bunny Hood (helpful),
Items, Songs Found: Goron Lullaby
Boss(es): (none)
Notes: (none)

--------------------------------------------------

As a Goron, go back to the Goron Village and talk to the first Goron you see. After he tells you how to open the door, you can go down and do it yourself. The first thing you'll hear is the annoying crying baby Goron in the throne room. Go up and talk to him a little to see exactly he's bawling his eye's out.

Use the Song of Soaring to teleport to the statue in Mountain Village. Look through the Lens of Truth to climb the invisible ladder that leads back to the cave where you got the Goron mask. As Goron Link, get in back of the slab in the middle of the cave and pull it backwards to reveal a hidden hot spring. You can bottle the water from this spring and use it to unfreeze a frozen Goron. Start with the one outside the cave, then go back and bottle some more water.

The spring water will turn into normal water if you don't use it right away, so run as fast as you can from that cave to the next area - the one with the rope bridges (the Bunny Hood helps a lot). Smash the snowballs way in the back until you find a frozen old Goron. Use the water to thaw him out a bit. If you can't seem to make it in time, you can use the water to melt the block over the hole on the hill in that area to get to another hot spring and fill up with that one next time. Talk to the unfrozen old Goron, and you will learn part of the Goron's Lullaby Song. Return to the crying baby Goron and play that part of the song to learn the rest.

Now go back to where the hot springs are, but look for another path leading out of the area, the one with the huge rolling snowballs. You will need to use Goron Link for this next area. Roll towards the first ramp immediately when you enter (don't walk any closer) to gain speed. When the spikes emerge from your body, use the wooden ramps to leap over the holes. When you get to the end, and the next area, there is another owl statue that you can use to get back here at any time you want. Walk as far as you can against the strong gusts of wind and play the Goron Lullaby (as a Goron). Now you're ready to advance onto the second dungeon. Just punch any snowballs that get in your way on the way up the path to the cave, but be carefull not to fall of the ledge from the force of the impact. There is a fairy fountain on the back of the mountain, so use it if you need to get some health or to return all the lost fairies in the temple.

---------------------------------------------------- SNOWHEAD TEMPLE>

1. Punch the icicles at the entrance, and push the block foward to move on. Take the door on the right, and roll across the bridge, gaining speed so you can jump over the middle part. Exit through the door against the left wall, not the one across a small gap. From the big room, find the room with the little bouncing fire skulls. You can hit a switch in here to release a Fairy. next, go back to the room with the bridge. Leap across the gap and go upstairs.

2. There is a chest in this room that has the map, as well as the 2nd fairy hiding in a corner. Go back, and jump down. Shoot an arrow up at the bubble under the ledge to release a fairy. Go back up and roll into it or hang of the ledge with normal link to get it.

3. Go back to the big room, and go across to a door on the other side. Pull the 2 blocks over to the white area and push them to the end of the white area to make a chest appear overhead. Go back to where the blocks were originally, and open a chest for a key. Now you need to go back to the begining and take the left door that was locked before. There is a chest with the compass in this room. Bomb the wall at the end of the room and continue on.

4. Use Link with the Bunny Hood to jump from pillar to pillar in this room. When you see a white stain of ice on the wall, jump towards it and you will go through the wall and find a fairy. Jump from that ledge with the fairy to the next ledge, and finally to the last ledge to get a key, and use that on the locked door in this room. In the next room, stomp on the gold block with Goron Link, then jump over to the other side. Jump on the blue one, then back to the raised gold platform. Jump on that, then use normal link to jump on the raised blue one and back onto the ledge. Go through the door. Roll and jump over the gap in the bridge, then roll and gain enough speed to roll over the steep part of the wall. Turn around, then roll and jump over that bridge.

5. Time for a tricky little mini-boss. He will teleport to one of the corners of the room, then spin his rod and try to freeze you. After you hit him twice, a clone will appear and they will both switch teleporters once before the real one attacks. No big deal, just punch him with Goron link 3 times to defeat him. After he is dead, you will pick up the fire arrows.

6. Now you can melt whatever ice gets in your way. If you go back to the previously locked door by the entrance, there are 2 faries in the following room. You can melt the ice in there for a block and a switch. Use the block first to leap up and go back to the room where a chest appeared overhead before to get one. Step on the switch and use the block to get the chest that appears for 2.

7.Find and melt all the ice blocks you can. The room you are looking for is one with many raised platforms and the statues that spit ice at you. Kill all the statues, and jump over to the door that is shut. Shoot fire arrows and light all the torches to open the door. In the next room, stomp the switch with goron link. Go back to the room near the begining where you had to roll across the bridge for the first time in here and kill everything now that you have the fire arrows to get a key. Leap to the door on the ledge (that had a fairy under it) and jump on the pillar in that room. Kill the statue with a fire arrow, then hit the switch with one. In the central pillar room, move up when you can. You might need to use the wall to roll with Goron Link.

8. When you get to the top floor, roll down one, and unlock the door. In the next rooms, kill all the monsters for 2 faries, then go on to the mini-boss. It is the same one as before, just with more teleporters, more clones, and 4 hits instead of 3. Waste him, and take the boss key. At this point, you will need to goto the central pillar room and punch away all of the blue sections. After you have done that, go back to where the final locked door was, roll up, and cross the pillar. Climb up the stairs and use Goron Link to roll over the gap.

Boss: Goato

9. A rather fun boss to run. Use Goron Link and roll to follow him up the endless tunnels. When you run low on magic, just hit one of the pots. Avoid the rocks and when you hit him, try to dodge left and right because he will spit a bolt at you. When you hit him enough, he will fall down, then get back up and run faster. This time he will also throw bombs, which hurt to be hit by. Just ram him a few more times to turn this bull into veil. Grab the heart container, and the area around will thaw out. Death mountain is back to normal! Finding all the faries (Even though I barely found half) in this dungeon will get you double magic if you bring them back to the fairy outside and down the moutain a tiny ways.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now that the mountain is unfrozen, there’s lots of things you can do. Before you try anything though, warp back in time, saving everything. Play the Inverted Song of Time to slow things down a bit, then go to Snowhead Temple and beat the boss again. You don’t have to do the whole temple, just go into the teleporter in the beginning. Now you’ll have three full days to complete everything, and trust me, you’ll need it.

First thing is the blacksmith in Mountain Village. It’s the only building there, so you can’t miss it. For 100 rupees, he’ll upgrade your Kokiri Sword to a Razor Sword, which is a very useful thing. It’s twice as strong as the Kokiri Sword, but after 100 uses it breaks and your sword changes back to the Kokiri Sword. You’ll also lose it if you try to go back in time, which is a big pain in the butt. However, you can get a sword called the Gilded Sword that can do 4x as much damage as your original Kokiri Sword, AND you won’t lose or break it, no matter what you do to it. And getting it is actually pretty easy to do, so I’d do it right away.

First, go to the now unfrozen Goron City. When you first enter, go to your left until you hit the wall, then straight to the big cave. Once inside, you can put on the Goron Mask and ask to buy some Powder Kegs. Powder Kegs are special bombs that only Goron’s can use because they’re so big and hard to pick up. He won’t let you buy them yet; you’ll have to take a test. He’ll want you to take the bomb and blow up the rock blocking the cave to the Goron Racetrack by the twin islands (if you don’t know where that is, it’s OK. I’ll direct you.) He’ll give you the bomb with the fuse already lit, so you have to really book it over there!

First you’ll have to throw the bomb up the step and roll up after its landed. It’s the only fast way to get up the stairs, so don’t even try another way, because it takes up lots of time. Try not to have the bomb land on the slant in the steps, just the flat parts. It’s actually pretty easy once you get used to it, so don’t give up.

Now that it’s up the stairs, you’ll just need to hoist it up on your shoulders and run as fast as you can up the ramps to the exit of Goron City. Take any short cuts you can find, like the skinny path by the cave. Once you exit, you’re already at the twin islands. Walk around all the enemies you see; the Wolfos can’t hurt you if you walk right past them because they stop for a second before they claw you. Go all the way to the end of this place like you’re going to leave (don’t though). When you’re almost at the end, look to your right, and you’ll see more steps like the big Goron had in his Powder Keg shop. Again, you’ll have to throw them up each step. Place the bomb by the rocks at the top by that annoying crybaby Goron. Now just stop and wait for the explosion!

Don’t go in yet. Instead, give your sword to the Mountain Village Blacksmith and 100 rupees for an upgrade. NOW you can check out the races.

Once you go it, you’ll see everyone is warming up for the races about to take place. I have no idea how they GOT there, since the exit was sealed up completely, but let’s not worry about that. The little baby Goron will be asking you to enter the race. Since no one wants to hear him cry anymore, you might as well enter the race.

Racing is really fun, and really easy to pick up on. All you really do is have a contest to see who can reach the ending first, by whatever means necessary. It’s a long way, so if you see any green pots along the way, grab then for some much needed magic to keep you going. Try not to let any slip by, even if you don’t need it, because others will and they’re pretty much out of the race if they don’t have magic (heh heh). You can also knock people out of their roll. Be sure you’re a little in front of them before you try it though. If you try it while behind them, you get knocked out yourself. And of course take inside turns, look ahead before making sharp turns, and watch out for obstacles. When you win the race, you’ll get a bottle full of gold dust. You can use the gold dust and keep the bottle.

Roll some more races until Day Two begins, then run back to the smithy to pick up your cool sword. You can use it a little if you’d like, just to feel it’s power, but only for a very little while. Don’t wait until it breaks, because then you’ll have to do this ALL over again! Give your gold dust and your sword to the blacksmith, then warp to Day Three, the Final Day. Pick up your sweet-lookin’ Gilded Sword, then save by playing the Song of Time.

Use the Song of Soaring to get back to the Goron City. Remember the shivering masked Goron on that ledge? Well, now it’s time to help him. Enter the crybaby’s place and light all of the torches with a Deku Stick and your Bunny Hood. The chandelier in there will start spinning. Change to a Goron and go right outside the baby’s chamber. Roll on the little carpet until you spike up, then go of the ramp and hit the little spinning pot things. One of them has some rock sirloin in it, so keep breaking the pots until it comes out. Now pick it up and deliver it to the shivering Goron in Mountain Village. He’ll thank you by giving you Don Gero’s Mask, a mask that let’s you talk to frogs.

More information about BOB
- Clock Town -

Play the song of time to save and get back to the first day. Go to the bomb shop in clock town to purchase a powder keg from the goron.

- Romani Ranch -

Take the south exit of clock town and head toward Milk Road. Use a powder keg to blast away the giant boulder to get into the ranch.

Talk to Romani, and agree to help her fight the aliens at night. She'll tell you to practice on Epona. Shoot down all the baloons within the time limit, and you'll learn Epona's song. Leave the ranch with epona.

- Great Bay -

Head back to Termina field and go west toward great bay, jumping the fences as they near. In the water, just off to the left, there will be a semi-concious Zora floating on the surface. Swim out to him & drag him in, then play the song of healing (instead of helping the poor guy, the song actually kills him :P ). Now you'll have the Zora mask! Head to the marine research lab, which is the building just floating in the water. As a Zora, talk to the scientest there and he'll tell you about the Zora eggs, and that they need to be recovered. Leave the lab, shoot down tingle for a map, and activate the owl statue. Swim north to the to the water with the pilar-like rocks then swim between them to enter the pinnacle rock.

- Pinnacle Rock -

To pass thru this area, sink to the bottom of the ocean, and carefully follow the signs like this: Walk to the first sign, then turn right and walk straight ahead to the next sign. Turn right then head to the next sign facing left. Ignore it and go straight ahead to another sign facing left. Turn left then go straight ahead to another sign facing left. Turn left, then go to a right facing sign. Go right to a left facing sign, then right again to the next sign, then left to enter the snakes lair. To kill a snake, hit it with your boomerang arms twice. The are six snakes and only 3 eggs. Take out the following snakes: North West, West, South East. You'll need a bottle for each egg, so if you only have 2 bottles, return the first 2 eggs to the lab, and come back for the last.

After returning all 3 to the lab, swim to the north-eastern part of great bay. Underwater, there are wooden panels that can be broken away. Behind one of them is an entrance to the pirates fortress. At the entrance to the fortress, there are four gerudo guards in boats, watching for intruders. They're represented by white dots on the map. When its safe, dive in the water, and swim to the northern most part of the area. Hit the switch to make an entrance, then swim south and enter the inside of the fortress via the tunnel.

- Gerudo Fortress -

Break the wall that is in the way, and swim up to the first block. Push it inwards, go left, swim to the next block and pulli it back. Return to the first block and pull it back as far as possible. Go around this cage area to the left, follow thru then break thru the walls. Swim into the water which pushes you upwards, then over the spikes, but under the current that will push you left. At the end, climb the ledge and enter the door. Climb the stairs, then climb the barrels, and shoot the crystals to open the passage. Swim through the passage before it closes. Paddle between the spikes, over the current and go around the corner until you reach the ladder, then climb it. Stand on the switch, then stand on the pipe and hit the crystal. The water will push you up to the next level, so jump off when you reach it. Blow up the spikes by knocking them together (use your boomerangs), then hit the crystal and enter the door. Walk around the ledge, then go up the ramp and enter the door. Remove your Zora mask, then equip your bow and arrows. Head towards the ladder on the right, and shoot down any guards that might catch you. Climb the ladder, then cross the bridge and enter the door. After the short cut scene, shoot at the bees nest with an arrow. Exit this room then jump down to the next ledge on the right, and enter the next room. Open the chest to get the hookshot, then use it on the plank above the aquarium to get into it. Wear the Zora mask, and put the egg in the bottle. Exit this room, then head toward the northen area of the pirate fortress. Hookshot to get onto the ledge, then hookshot again to get to the door. Shoot the pirate, then head left, and enter the door.

Mini Boss: Gerudo Pirate

Simply hit her 3 times and she'll be out cold. Careful though, her attacks can be quite harmful. Use Z-targeting, and block her moves. After fight, use the new entrance to get on top of the next aquarium. Kill the Big Fish before entering and taking the egg (If you dont have 4 empty bottles, now is a good time to return these 2 eggs to the marine research lab). Exit and return to the northern part of the fortress. Hookshot upwards 3 times until you reach the top. Shoot the pirate, then cross the bridge and enter the door. Shoot down all 3 pirates, then enter the next room.

Mini Boss: Gerudo Pirate

Retrieve the egg from the aquarium, then exit. Jump down, climb the stairs then jump down again. Make your way to the south western door, but enter the door opposite to it. Avoid getting caught by the pirate here, then enter the next room.

Mini Boss: Gerudo Pirate

After entering the next room, take the egg then warp back to great bay. Enter the marine research lab, and drop the final eggs into the aquarium. Here, you'll learn the New Wave Bossanova. Leave the lab, then take the southern exit of great bay. Swim out to the zora hall (its a small island on the map). Enter by swimming into a cave underneath the surface. Explore this area if you'll like (some of the rooms will have musicians playing varios classic zelda themes, such as the original dungeon and game over themes), and when you're done, take the eastern exit. Talk to her, then play the New Wave Bossanova. After the turtle rises, hookshot onto the trees on it to enter the next dungeon.

Items you'll get: Ice Arrows
Difficulty: Hard

Start by entering thru the door into the next room. Swim underwater and activate the yellow tap. Return to the platform where you entered the temple, and climb the elevating platform to the side of the entrance. Jump to the ledge, and avoid the skultula. Follow the platform, then jump onto the fountain, then onto the next ledge, and follow it through to the next doorway. Jump into the water, and swim into the opening which has both green and red pipes on it. Climb onto the ledge, then hookshot to the chest, and open it for a map. Dive back into the water, and use your boomerang arms to cut the dexihands which are blocking the next opening. Swim through, and cut all the deku plants so continue through to the next door. In the next room, z-target the deku plants and kill them. jump onto the lilipads, then hookshot the chest for the compass. Sink to the bottom of this pool for a key. Surface, then jump into the moving water. In the central pool, swim down to the bottom, and enter the opening with a red pipe. Climb the red pipe, follow it, then enter the door. Stock up on supplies, then go through the door to fight the mini-boss.

Mini Boss

Stand in the opposite side of the room, then look at the cieling to begin the battle. Use arrows to first knock off the bubble-eyes, and shoot them again, or hit them with your sword to destroy them. By doing this, you are slowly increasing the surface area of the big main eye. When theres a big enough opening, shoot the big eye with arrows. Eventually it will fall to the ground. Avoid its slides, and continue shooting it until it dies. Take the ice arrows, then leave the room. Go through the next door. Stand on the platform in the S.E. corner, and freeze the octorok with an ice arrow. Climb the octorok, then click the ledge and activate the tap. Dive in the water and leave the area. In the main pool, enter the opening with the green and red pipes. Surface on the ledge, and hookshot the chest. Shoot some ice arrows into the water to create some platforms to the doorway which was previously unreachable. Enter the door, then freeze the blue blob to create a block. Push the block toward the red ledge, then climb the block & the ledge to activate the tap. Leave the room, jump in the water, kill the dexihands and swim through to the next area. Kill the deku plants, then climb the platform and enter the door. Use ice arrows to create platforms to the ledge which was previously unreachable. Use fire arrows on the doorway to clear the path and enter the room.

Mini Boss

To beat this miniboss, you must kill the frog. In can be difficult, as he seems to be friendly with a giant yellow blob. When he jumps into the blob and the blob goes to the roof, SHOOT IT WITH AN ICE ARROW as quickly as possible. This will make the blob fall, break and expose the frog to attacks. Shoot him or hit him with the sword to kill him. If, when the blob is on the roof, take too long, the blob will drop and you'll get stuck in it, leaving a chance for the frog to hit beat you up. Also, after the blob has broken apart, the frog will throw chunks of the blob at you. Just be persistant, and keep an eye on where the blob is so it doesn't land on you. After defeating it,leave the room and open the chest for the boss key. Climb the ledge and exit the area via the moving water. Surface, and climb out of the main pool. Climb the ladders, and use the southern exit to return to the starting room. Use the hookshot on the ceiling of the North West corner of the room, then jump over to the tap and activate it. Swim over to the yellow tap and de-activate it. Go to the platform at the rooms entrance, then jump onto the rising platform, onto the ledge, over to the rising water, then onto the next ledge and continue to the main pool room. Stay on the platforms, and jump on the blades to reach the northern part of the room. Use ice arrows on the waterfall blocking the ladder, then climb it. Use ice arrows to create platforms across to the green tap, then activate it. Leave the room. Dive into the pool, and enter the opening with the green and red pipes. Follow thru until you reach a room with spikes. Climb the platform at the northwest of the room, then climb the elevating platform. Jump onto the rotating pipe, and wait for the moving platform, then jump on it to reach the next ledge. Look around the room for a waterfall, and clog it with ice arrows. Jump across the ledge (where the big blades were spinning), and enter the next room. Go onto the see saw, the melt the ice which is clogging the waterfall on the opposite side of the see saw. Jump onto the next see saw. Jump onto the ledge and activate the green pipes. Jump back down, and then freeze the waterfall for the first see saw, climb it, and melt the water fall to get back up. Jump onto the ledge to go through the door. Swim to the bototm of the pool, then in the main pool, swim through the opening with only green pipes. Climb the pipes, then activate the tap. Climb across, then enter the door, then jump into the hole for a boss fight.

Boss: Gyorg

This boss can be some real trouble if you're not paying attention. You'll probably need a couple of bottle fairies for this fight too, this guy does some real damage. If you're standing in the middle of the platform, he'll leap over it to take a bite out of you - roll out of the way to avoid it. If you're on the ledge of the platform, he'll rang the ledge so you fall in. Whilst in the water, he can swim up to you and chew on you a bit before spitting you out. He'll occasionly release a bunch of piranas, so use you boomerangs to kill them when that happens. To kill him, stand on the ledge of the platform, z-target him and shoot bommerangs at him to stun him. Then dive in, and attack him to kill him. As he regains his senses, you'll get a bit of time to get out of the water before he attacks again. Simply repeat this process and he'll be gone in no time. After defeating him, get the heart container, and enter the portal to leave.

"Swamp. Mountain. Ocean. Canyon. The four who are there, bring them here."

- Clock Town -

Now that you have each of the boss's masks, play the song of time to save your game, and return to clock town. Play the song of time until you reach the night of the final day. Wait outside the entrance to Clock Tower, and when midnight hits, enter the tower. Play the Oath to Order, and the giants will come and stop the moon from falling. Majora's Mask will enter the moon, and you'll automatically follow.

ON The MOON

Once you're inside the moon, you'll find yourself in an odd landscape - a never-ending plane, with a tree in the center. Run to the tree. If you have all of the masks except one, you may take this opportunity to get the fierce deity mask. You have to talk to each of the kids wearing the masks of bosses you have already defeated. Give them masks to enter each dungeon, complete these dungeons, and give them more masks when you wish to leave.
When you're ready, talk to the child with Majoras Mask. If you have no masks left, he'll be kind enough to give you the Fierce Deity Mask, which you can use during any of the boss battles. Say yes twice to him, and you'll have to fight Majora's Mask.

Boss: Majora's Mask

To defeat Majora's Mask, shoot the back of it with arrows. He'll collapse and fall to the ground. When he does, run up to it and attack it with your sword. After a few hits, he'll release the masks of Odolwa, Goht, Gyorg and Twim Mold. The best thing to do is it shoot them with an arrow, or reflect Majora's fire at them. After a few hits, Majora's Mask should cark it, and evolve into...

Boss: Majora's Incarnation

Majora will grow arms and legs, and will run around the room like a chicken. Its pretty easy to defeat, all you need to do is shoot it with arrows, then attack it with your sword when it trips over. It should die fairly easy, and finally become...

Boss: Majora's Wrath

Now, Majora will have a head, and very long whips on its arms. Simply wait for him to initiate his attacks, then shoot it with an arrow. After you do that, run up to it and attack him with your sword. Always Z-Target and block whenever you're not attacking. Eventually he'll die, and you will have completed The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Watch the ending. The more masks you have, the more of the ending you'll get to see.
